Rewatched: The Apartment & Bob le Flambeur

Le jour se lève (Daybreak) was incredible. The dialogue, the camera movements and the cinematography, the performances... The nonlinear narrative felt so modern and way ahead for 1939. It all felt very grounded and very poetic at the same time. What a delightful experience.
