Reference images ?

Not sure if this has been asked before but does anyone know if the contestants are allowed access to an iPad to search for reference images prior to their builds ? Genuinely curious because their memories must be so good to reference whatever thing they want to build and translate it to Lego form with no reference photos ?

For example am amazed they remember the Disney scenes so accurately to replicate, and the characters and what they wear/little distinct features and similarly when they build animals and creatures where they are able to recall the anatomy and poses so well! That is a feat in itself I feel!
