LA Times Interview with BBT - what's with the Sheridan worship?!
Okay, generally didn't mind the show - I wish there had been more oil talk and less Copper/Ariana and Ainsley/Angela - but premise is not bad and BBT is superb.
HOWEVER, I gotta say in reading this, why is it that every damn actor (except Kevin Costner, lol) who works with Sheridan absolutely fellates him? BBT certainly has had a career and resume that means he doesn't need to do it, and yet we get the typical "Taylor is a genius who created this character..." line I've heard ad nauseam since Yellowstone became huge.
WHY? Sheridan's got great ideas, no doubt, and I love his films and parts of his other series', but the way they praise the writing is mystifying to me.
