How long to wait to eat after dosing?

Hello friends, I'm wondering how long one should wait to eat after drinking some kratom? I am quite sensitive to these sorts of things. The effect is much different for me taking it on an empty stomach rather than with food. I don't want to eat too quickly and dull the effects.
