Is 3hr gap enough layover for proper transfer between flights?

I am traveling to Vietnam from Bangalore via Kochi. Bangalore flight lands at 8pm and my next flight is at 11:30pm.

As one flight is domestic and other is international, what precautions do I need to take and be careful for steps and procedure? (This is my first time flying)
