As a chef people are unnecessarily intimidated of cooking for me
As someone who cooks for a living I believe the time and energy someone puts into a meal for me is something I'll always be grateful of. I feel like I'm always explaining a home cooked meal is something that is always a treat
Now, yes, deep in the bowels of my subconscious I am judging the salt in the meal but I'm always appreciative of it.
I think back to one of my very first family meals and the upset looks from FOH and how devastating it was for me.
