I’m sick of the fitz hate

Okay, everyone is obviously entitled to their opinions. But holy crap, most of the hate directed at fitz is so unnecessary.

He’s SIXTEEN. He doesn’t have anger issues, he developing control over his emotions. If someone’s grief response is anger, that doesn’t mean they have anger issues.

He doesn’t deserve to DIE (yes, i’ve seen multiple people wishing he’d die) because his defense mechanism is to be angry when his dad is dead to the world or his brother turns out to have been part of the neverseen’s plan the whole time (which he figured, but nobody agreed with him) or because his girlfriend hides crucial information from him for weeks and he finds out about her matchable status from keefe and ro. Then he doesn’t get any legitimate time to process the information, because Ro sticks her nose where it doesn’t belong and confronts him in front of keefe and sophie, instead of allowing him to think it over and talk to sophie one-on-one. Which they got a chance to do later, and they maturely settled on what to do.

Not only that, but whenever he acts out in anger he ALWAYS makes sure to apologize to anyone he hurt unintentionally, and doesn’t allow them to let him off the hook. He takes responsibility for his emotions and words.

Like, you can dislike fitz. Heck, you can even hate him. But stop shitting on him for reacting like a teenager to these things. It’s realistic. He’s still a great guy. Especially because sophie is very much to blame as well because she keeps hiding things from people.

STOP WISHING DEATH ON A 16 YEAR OLD BECAUSE YOU THINK HIS BEST FRIEND IS HOT AND DESERVES HIS GIRLFRIEND.
