Do you think Sophie’s treatment to——— is valid? (Full question in description)

After Sophie finds out Oralie is her biological mother, she goes nuts and gives her the cold treatment, so, do you think Sophie’s treatment towards Oralie is valid?

I know it’s not that deep compared to other topics about the series, but ever since it has been revealed, and Sophie’s initial attitude towards her, I have been en curious as to how others thought about Sophie’s behavior. Personally, I think it is valid though too overdramatic (though maybe I don’t have the right to speak since I luckily have never experienced something like this) though I wish they got along well as before, but people differ and opinions so… bring it on!

Edit: Thanks for all of your comments! I loved reading each of y’all’s perspectives. Even changed my mind on Sophie overreacting, after thinking about it more, I completely agree that Sophie had every right to be upset.

Which brings me to another side note: I also love the complexity of Sophie’s and Oralie’s relationship after this huge reveal. When things toned down a little bit, Sophie didn’t suddenly forgive her and move on and started a mother-daughter bonding time, she just treated her professionally as if she was an acquaintance. In fact, pretty sure it will stay like that, because as Sophie said, “I don’t need two mothers”. Edaline and Grady have given her all the love she can get, much more than Oralie would give her.
