Some Important Updates

For at least the next couple of weeks, I’ll unfortunately have minimal-to-no use of my iMac, due to yet another hard drive beginning to show signs of imminent failure. And while something like this happening doesn't affect the sub all that much, there will be some things I can't do without Reddit Desktop access, so just keep that in mind for the foreseeable future!

Secondly, and more importantly, my youngest fur kid has now been diagnosed with cancer. I know you guise are already aware that I lost my oldest last month, and it was the youngest who found her unresponsive, much like he found my oldest Great Pyrenees shortly before Jon went missing in 2021. My youngest is also a Pyrenees, who hasn't even experienced his fifth birthday yet, and I don't think I need to tell any of you reading this just how devastating this all is.

So, needless to say, between the hard drive issues and having to figure out what, if anything, can be done for my floof, just be aware that I may be here one minute some days and then gone the next, for however many hours to even a day or two. I have experienced fur kids with cancer before, and you guise know I have been fighting it myself for many years, but this isn’t looking good and we wouldn’t have even known the severity if I hadn’t trusted my gut and gone for a second opinion. If anything positive can come out out of this, at the very least, let it be that!
