2 options for retainer plan; need assistance choosing!

My treatment will be done tomorrow! I have 2 options for retainers.

Option 1; get 1 set of retainers included. If I lose it or need it replaced, it will cost $500 ($200 per arch, $150 for office visit)

Option 2; join their retainer assurance program for $750. I will receive 2 sets of retainers in total. I will be given my 3D printed model to take home in the case I need more replacements. The cost of future replacements will be $20 per arch. And can be done up to 4 times per year for 5 years. There is no office visit fee. If the model is lost or broken, then it will cost $50 for each model.

I’m expected to wear my retainer full time for about 6 weeks (20-22 hours), then wear them for about 12-20 hours for 6 months, then at night for about 6-12 months. After a year, they recommend I wear it at night only.

Which option would you go with?

And question for those who are done with their plan; how many retainers have you gone through? How long do each of your retainers last and how many hours do you wear them?
