Can I Waive PLDT's Pre-Termination Fee?
Hi. may PLDT account ako na na-install last January 2021. And then in-upgrade ko sya last April 2023. Now, lumipat ako sa new address earlier this month lang and requested a relocation.
Unfortunately, PLDT couldn't find any available slots sa area ko. Tumawag ung PLDT sa akin and suggested na i-disconnect ung account since matagal pa daw malalagyan ng bagong box. Gusto kong i-retain ung account ko as much as I wanted to, pero need ko ng Internet since I am working from home.
I sent a disconnection request via email to PLDT. Included sa need mabayaran daw before disconnecting is ung pre-termination fee. Can this be waived given my circumstances?
UPDATE: I explained my situation via chat sa PLDT Cares messenger. I was able to waive my pre-termination fee.
