Truck closed lines wires off house

A tractor trailer came down our suburban street and took off the telephone wires and chunks of our siding. Truck company said it's not their fault, Verizon like was at code. Where do I turn? I don't want to file a claim on my house insurance. Do I hire a lawyer? What kind? Can I take the company to court? How do I do that then? Super lost and would appreciate any guidance! I have the accident on my house security camera.
