What exactly is Info Sharing ?

I called IRCC to know about my application, they said that they still on background section, with criminality and info sharing done, now they are on security yes.

So criminality is about the good police certificates I think.

But what is info sharing ?

Is it information between offices and services in Canada ?

And is it informations sharing with the countries we have been, like to validate what we put on the travel and personal section ?

I know that security is about espionage, terrorism…

Fortunately it’s the last part about the background check so I hope it will be more fast
