SIL is pregnant

We had a loss in 2023 which was absolutely devastating. We were so excited to bring the first grand baby into the family and that it was a GIRL, since the last generation has been all boys.

Since then, we’ve been trying to conceive with no success. Last night, my BIL and SIL FaceTimed us to share that she’s 12 weeks pregnant. I’m happy for them, but just so sad and jealous that they are getting the special moment that should have been ours. Now, I’m also dreading the possibility that they might be having a girl.

I’m just so deeply sad for myself, and just came here to get this off my chest.
