Re-submitting my assignment

I am thinking to drop the course and re-enroll the course since the teacher takes too long to mark and I wont be able to submit everything before the 12th. There is one assignment that I handed in last week, still "in progress", but if i drop the course right now before I receive a mark from the teacher, will i be able to re-submit the assignment on my new course? or is it considered as self-plagirism as well?
