IA appeal procedure
So my situation is for my may exam I got a 6 for P1, 7 for P2 and & for P3, but my IA got moderated down from a 24/24 to a 11/24. But the odd thing here is for my Bio EE i received a 30/34, when I pretty much did the same process. My school apparently said that my grade was also moderated and I asked for a remoderation but not a single score changed. Then, I just found out that I can ask my school to appeal to the IB, I know in the end it's my decision but I’m a little bit mentally drained with this process but at the same time its very important for me to get a 7 for my university application this September, snce I am a Bio related major. So do you think I should still ask for an appeal to the IB? In Stage 1 it says the appeal
- "cannot challenge the professional judgment of the Principal Examiner (PE) or his or her interpretation of his or her mark scheme, which has been consistently applied to all candidates." But the most confusing part of my IA was the explanation of the PE as the explanation said that I had only written standard deviation when I clearly added ANOVA test and the methodology thatwas quite long and descriptive, but the explanation said "too short" and said my limitations for the experiment were simply listed but there was a whole table explaining my limitations. TBH I think the PE didn't properly read my IA? How am I supposed to approach/write the appeal, since my school is really incompetent and I think I need to take it into my own action?
