It's 6 degrees tonight. Where is your dog?
I can't tell you how many outside 'guard' dogs I see north of the city that only have a bare plastic crate for shelter with no bedding what-so-ever. These are mostly pit-bull mixes with zero body fat and no appreciable coat.
If you are one of these owners, you are a bad human being.

edit: I've really loved seeing everyone's best buddies today. It's encouraging to see so much goodness in Huntsville people.
Please keep an eye out for animals in need, and if you can't directly reach out to the owners, at least be aware of the other help resources available in the Huntsville area:
Huntsville Animal Services' help line is 256-883-3782

I can't say enough good things about North Alabama Spay Neuter. They are an amazing 501-c3 operation that delivers essential services for dogs and cats at prices that common people can pay. They are right on the pkwy and do require an early morning check in.
