Buyer refusing to share results of survey… is this normal?
I’m selling my house and just had a level 3 survey done by the buyers.
They came back today and have said that there is 80k worth of works but have refused to share the survey with me without me paying 25% or the £1000 survey cost.
They have shared a vague list of apparently urgent problems, such as ‘doors or windows’ and ‘fireplace or chimney flue’ and ‘damp’, but no further details at all. I have spent £100k on the house and can likely refute most of these problems but I don’t know what they are.
Is this normal? What do I do now?
