Attractions Lot 269 Review
Intro
As some of you may know I am an avid fan of leather jackets and pretty much most things made of leather which also happens to include engineer boots. Arguably, the most “heritage-y” boot style in existence. There’s no doubt in my mind that this style of footwear is my favorite.
I have long desired a pair of Attractions along with others like Wesco, John Lofgren, Role Club, Clinch, etc and after viewing many of Jake’s (AlmostVintageStyle) reviews on this style of boot. I decided to add another grail boot to my collection this Christmas as a gift to myself this year. These are my newest acquisition, picked up via Brogue California; the Attractions Lot 269 Engineers and I have to say they’re fantastic—everything from the sleek silhouette of the last to the shiny finish of the leather gives these a slightly “dressy and elegant”presence as far as engineers go. They’re also fantastically comfortable right off the bat. I can’t wait to break these bad boys in.
Details via Attractions & Brogue California
Upper -Combination (veg/chrome) tanned steerhide with “glass/gloss” finish
Sole -Midsole: Oiled bends -Outsole: “BILTBUCKS” original separate sole and heel
Last -A008 Freeman Last -Slightly longer and sharper toe compared to A010 Specialty Last

Conclusion Overall, I’m very excited to break these in as I’ve heard that compared to their Lot 444 horsebutt counterpart, these roll a lot more and age quite differently, they are also shinier which also appealed to me as well. I couldn’t be happier with these, honestly.
Hope you all have a fantastic day and have fun keeping the heritage spirit alive!
