What would be Hellsings messeging/ideas?

Its obiouse that the series is anti war but what other messegis does it try to imply, specificaly on the religious aspects? As a high school student I have to write essasy about certain topics and because currently we are covering Christianity and I'm going to write essasy using my literary knowledge, I thought there may be some ideas relevant to my essasy. I have a hard time picking out ideas/messages from visual media (for some reason) (I know my wording is a little messy, I was in a rush)
