Super Elite Enemies #2 Shrike Heavy Gunship
Continuing the series of mini bosses for high level player challenge, the Shrike. Weapons as advertised; measures to keep it alive long enough to be a challenge for the RR brigade are an active protection hard kill system that intercepts incoming rockets and missiles, an ECM that causes guided weapons to take much longer to lock on and AI that recognises when strategems have been called close to it and makes it strafe away.
This thing is much tougher than a regular gunship and it's AA missiles increase any Eagle Strategem cooldowns until they are depleted (cos Eagle 1 is busy dodging those bad boys).
Oh, and the laser cannon is like a mini Bot Orbital Laser so bright red ofc.
