Can smegma build up under the hood cause weird pains?

I was getting a weird sharp pain in my vagina whenever I would have a clitoral orgasm from my vibrator.(over the course of a week) I haven’t used it in maybe 5 days because I’m worried about it and feel like I need to leave her alone lol.
