Truck orders and delivery

Hi I’m fairly new to the game. I hear a lot of ppl saying don’t do truck orders. How do you make coins?
i’m so short of coins I don’t know what to do!

Also re truck orders, I used to be able to add truck orders before the truck got back but that seems to have changed. Now I have to wait for it to return to do another. Why is this?
