So frustrated!

I really, really want another baby. I was diagnosed with Hashis almost a year ago when I had my gallbladder removed and my TSH was 18. At my pcp follow up, it was down to 7, and I started on 75mcg levo. My TSH dropped to 1.5 within two months. I wanted to focus on getting stable with meds and attempting some weight loss before TTC but at this point, I wish I’d just jumped right on it. I’ve been having my numbers checked regularly since. In June, it rose a bit to 2.4 but my OB cleared me for TTC. We decided to hold off until the end of the year, so I’ve continued to check labs every 6-8 weeks to keep an eye on it. Last round in early November came back at 3.4 so we adjusted my dose to 100mcg. The holidays have been rough. My husband’s grandmother went on hospice care a week before Christmas (and has since recovered far more than anyone expected), we hosted two christmases, one with 10 extra people in our home for a weekend, one with 5 people for a couple of days. All while bouncing back and forth to the hospital to be with his grandmother and keeping the holiday magic alive for our 4yo. Today my labs came back at 3.6, after 6 weeks on a higher dose of levo. I’m shocked it’s still moving in the wrong direction. Idk if I should try another dose adjustment or focus on lowering my stress and timing my levo more consistently first (I take it daily but hasn’t been at the same time recently due to the holiday craziness). I really wanted to be pregnant by March, now we will be lucky to be able to start trying by March. My kiddo asks me every week if I have a baby in my tummy yet because he wants a sibling as much as I want to give him one. I’m sad. We hoped 2024 would be the year before the gallbladder issue, now I’m wondering if we can even make it happen in 2025. I’ll be 35 this year, I just want my family to feel complete. I hate that we have to wait so long between labs. Waiting to hear from my doc about what he recommends. In the meantime, just needed to vent. If anyone has been here or has advice about dose increase vs other options, I’m all ears.
