How to get a red from purple

Like the title! I dyed the tips of my hair with got2b red kinda half knowing it wont come out red and obviously it didn’t lol. Is there anyway I can’t take this purple to a red without damaging my hair more than it already is? (I know the bleach job is messed up but I don’t want to bleach it anymore since I’m growing my natural hair)
