Hair ratkings everywhere?????
The last two years the volume and formation of the hair I've found around our house has increased an insane amount.
My wife has wavy hair almost to her butt. I have straight hair almost to my navel. Neither of us seem to have an issue with thinning.
When we rented we had carpets and an automatic vacuum. When we bought our first house it had beautiful hardwood and our little cleaning buddy finally gave up and I had to throw it out. So it could just be an issue of the hair being more noticeable.
As an aged out punk kid I love cutting my own hair and I obviously clean up after. My spouse has only ever gone to one hair dresser whom now lives an hour from us. She hasn't gone in over a year and is superstitious about highering another stylist. Obviously her split ends need some work. I don't think that's the case thought because I find the clumps on our clothing and bedding more than I used to.
She uses a moisturizing shampoo and conditioner from tresseme. I used whatever color protection shampoo (or purple shampoo depending on the current color) is cheapest from the beauty store. We have a bamboo flat brush, a plastic rattail comb and a plastic hair pick for grooming. We both tend to leave our hair down and we both tend to towel/air dry our hair. She washes hers a bit more than I do as I've grown accustomed to skipping washes from when I regularly used fashion colors.
My spouse also thinks the water is harder in our house compared to our rental as she has noticed having dryer hair. I haven't noticed a change in my texture but I have a very oily scalp and might just be protected from a mineral buildup.
I used to just find single strands of hair, not now I'm rankings hair clumps off of everything. What can we do to minimize this issue? I can't deal with anymore hair ratkings
