Had colposcopy. Curious to see how others went? Did they end up taking biopsies?

Ok so I finally had my colposcopy done 2 days ago.. my pap was positive HPV with LSIL/ASCUS. While at my appointment, it was explained to me that a colposcopy is like having a pap done but with a much closer look. He also explained that he may not even need to take any biopsies if he does not see anything alarming. He wound up taking 3.. he asked if I had any questions after we finished up but I think I was so worked up from nerves that of course my response was “nope I think I’m all set” lol. I SHOULD have asked what he saw (even though I know he can’t give me any certain answers on what I should expect when my results come in.. but still haha.

Just wondering what others out there have experienced.. is it possible to have biopsy results come back with no concern or should I just expect to find out I’m going to need some type of further treatment because he saw 3 spots that needed testing?
