Wanna get in HKUMed MBBS

Hi, I'm currently an s5 student, going to s6 soon. and I took the IB program. I aim to apply for HKU's MBBS program but am really concerned about whether I will get in or not. I contacted a lot of hospitals and clinics for observership/ volunteering experience, but all rejected my request due to the pandemic guidelines. and also I'm an ethnic minority, I do have a basic understanding of Cantonese, but I'm not sure how can i practice more, in terms of working knowledge relating to medicine. Here are the list of things I have done so far

- been leader of my school's JA club

- activity coordinator of my school's house

- participated in healthcare worker course organised by NGO

- led a science project (something related to ecology though)

- volunteered at community health outreaches (simple health check-ups for ethnic minority communities)

so my question is, are these enough for my MBBS application? is it competitive enough? and if not, what else could i do to make it more competitive? also as for language, im learning mandarin in the IB program, but i do know Cantonese, but really need to brush up and learn more work-related vocabs, so are there any tips you could give for me to improve my Cantonese?

also, i come from a ban 3 school, will that affect the admission officer's impression over my application?? just curious, because based off the stats I've seen online, usually Chinese students from ban 1 or 2 schools are successfully admitted. just asking, no offense
