Early Start College Trend?

Has anyone else noticed a trend of girls starting college a year earlier than their recruiting class indicates? Michigan got Sophia Diaz a year early, which apparently started when Bev made a joking comment to her parents about wanting her sooner, but now two class of 2026 commits (Katelyn Kelly and Anelise Johnson) are starting early in fall 2025. Doubly odd because Michigan has the #1 freshman class on campus this year, so if they developed those girls properly and kept them healthy, why cut off someone's last year of high school? Is it to prevent injury from another year of L10? Is it desperation to build depth for a program that is falling behind? Is this popular with recruits because they can't fully enjoy high school social life while training? Very curious about this.
