How to get started playing on pc

i know it’s been asked probably a thousand times but i just don’t wanna do the research myself

i played on the wii and i don’t have a tv that can run it anymore but i got a pc. from the research ive done i need the guitar and dongle but im getting mixed things from what game to play on. i’d like to play customs if that’s possible so keep that in mind with your recommendations
