Would a PS3 Guitar Hero controller work with Rock Band 4 on PS5?

Me and my family is addicted to Guitar Hero at the moment, and my dad is wanting his own guitar. He’s wanting one that works with Guitar Hero and Rock Band games on PS3 and works with Rock Band 4 on PS5. Would a PS3 GH controller work with Rockband on PS5?
