Grass Keeps Being Deducted From Account

Is there a reason as the why Grass keeps disappearing out of people accs? For example i earned over 2k yesterday and now it says i only earned 20, it does this every single day by random amounts (the 2.39k was the largest yet it was the whole days earnings), it seems more like a data mining scam and not beneficial to anyone but the company running it.
