Switched from iPhone to Pixel 8

Ok I love this pixel. Its so smart it's unbelievable. But I think I'm doing something wrong. My battery is absolutely trash. I returned the phone and got a replacement and it was still trash. So now I'm thinking it's user error.

I was watching a video of someone using their pixel for a full day, and in 2 hours it only went down 2%. Mine goes down much quicker even when the phone is completely idle (no always on screen on either). Like am I doing something wrong? It charges quickly, but like when its at 100% and I use it for literally 3 mins of just texting. It goes down a percentage. Meanwhile people seem to have about the battery.

Am I just misinformed? I feel like my iPhone battery was much better. When I look at my battery health settings, I'm at 5 hours of screen on time since last full charge and I need to charge again.

Maybe I'm just dumb. Any insight?
