Obtain Residence in Barcelona (EU + non-EU)

I am French and I have my NIE Blanco. My wife is Peruvian with her NIE Blanco as well. We did the empadronamiento for a friend of hers who lives in Barcelona. We are seeking to obtain residency in Spain. Have any of you been there? I have an appointment in 3 weeks in Barcelona to do the “Certificado de registro de ciudadano de la UE” But I don't know if I have all the docs I need.

My situation: - I am unemployed but with significant savings - I do not have a bank account in Spain only in France - My wife is also unemployed but with a residence visa in France.

My questions: - Do I have to have a Spanish bank account to prove my funds? If it's on my French account, do I have to translate the proof of funds document? - How much do I need for my wife and me in terms of resources so that they accept the file? - Can I put it on my EX-18 form? - Does the Spanish medical insurance have to be in my name and also on file to present the file? - Is there anything else I need to know?
