Is Germanpod101 worth it?

I'm thinking of getting it but it is a lot of money for me, I have two different books "Teach yourself complete German and Hueber A1 books. I also use Duolingo, and was wondering if germanpod was anything like the books and duolingo combined.

Edit: Thanks to everyone for your responses, I appreciate it. I think I will stick to my books, Duolingo and check out the resources that have been recommended to me.
