People are calling Mavuika powercreep, but no one is talking about Citlali.

In vape teams, Mavuika's performance is definitely top meta, but it doesn't break the damage ceiling in anyway, it's about as good as the other top tier dps. Her damage is as broken as she is because she can reliably melt Citlali's cryo app. Mavuika is still definitely an incredibly strong unit without Citlali, she has top tier damage and top tier sub dps capabilites, but Citlali is what brings her hypercarry teams over the edge, imo much more than Xilonen does.

Rosaria had the fastest cryo application in the game before Citlali. Now imagine Rosaria, but she has more damage, her application follows you in a big area, she decreases pyro and hydro res by 20%, gives 40% damage bonus with cinder city, gives a shield, gives 48% atk, her application lasts longer and is tied to skill rather than burst. There you go, you have Citlali.

People are saying Mavuika powercrept Arlecchino, and they are mostly correct, but Arlecchino also got a big power boost because of Citlali that the difference is genuinely not that big between them, and who is better in a given situation will depend on a lot of factors (they also literally run the same team, Bennett Xilonen Citlali).

Allowing pyro carries to melt gives them access to ×2 reactions instead of ×1.5 reactions, and Citlali's app is fast enough to sustain to allow these two to melt on their own. She is literally a 25% or even higher upgrade to what was previously the damage ceiling of the game.

She is also a Zhongli upgrade/Xilonen sidegrade with shield for Neuvillette teams, and she can slot nicely to Mualani teams, so she's not restricted to pyro carries.

This unit is genuinely bonkers. I am not sure how they can make stronger units than her or Xilonen.

Edit: Some people are hyper focusing on me talking about her powercreeping Rosaria for some reason. Guys that's not the point, the point is that she is a direct contributor to breaking the damage ceiling by allowing pyro dps to forward melt on her own.
