I LOVE Drew and Willow…
..for all the messiness they’ve facilitated!
Sometimes this show feels a little too Hallmark, everyone loves each other and gives great advice and blah blah blah. But this mess? Bring it on.
Usually “hate” is reserved for out and out villains like Cyrus or town pariah Nina (can you believe EVERYONE was furious with her for turning people in for a crime they committed? Small potatoes.) but watching ingenue Willow and Town Hero Drew get dragged by everyone while unapologetically screwing each other, both of them lost in lust, has brought about some fun, energetic fallout.
And I want to make it very clear: They disgust me. However…
I pray this doesn’t end with one or both of them written off. Lean into how messed up this all is! A year ago Carly wouldn’t shut up about how brave and amazing Drew was and now she HATES him! That’s FUN! Cancer survivor and new mom literally had people going to the other side of the world to save her and now half the town can’t stand the sight of her.
It’s GLORIOUS.
