Best watch for running without your phone?

I feel like I may be looking for a unicorn, but I'm trying to identify the best watch for distance running that includes the following features:

  • Accurate GPS tracking (seems like most Garmin watches have this covered)
  • Ability to listen to podcasts without my phone
  • Sync with Strava (my phone is a Pixel)
  • LTE capabilities
  • $500 or less

Ultimately, I would like to be able to run without my phone on me, but as a woman who runs in the wee (dark) hours of the morning and occasionally up in mountain-lion territory, I want the ability to contact someone if there's an emergency. In a perfect world, I'd love to be able to actually call or text someone, but doesn't seem like any Garmin watch can do that currently?

It seems like the the Forerunner 945 LTE is the closest to hitting the mark, but not being able to answer texts/make calls or return to a Spectator text I may have missed is a bummer. Any watch suggestions or Forerunner 945 workarounds here?

I realize this is a Garmin-specific sub, but if there are other watches out there that I should be looking at, I'm all ears! .

Edit: I swear this isn't an ad for Google, but after taking a look at the new Pixel Watch 3 coming out next month, I think it may be the answer. I was sleeping on the Pixel watch, but with its new run features + data, it looks pretty great.
