Byron Sunrise Finger Lime - Planting tips

We’ve read a lot of the posts here about these temperamental beauties! We have some native potting mix, and plan to shelter it from the wind. We had initially thought of putting this in a pot but there is a spot in a garden bed I would prefer it to go. Gets plenty of sun. Any issues with this given that it says “ideally suited to pots”? We are located in Perth! Thanks
