Sensor wires
What's the norm for running sensor wires from the opener to the base of the garage door? On my old opener, the wires went to the left and right from the opener and then were neatly run on each side of the door along the tracks that the wheels run in and then down to the bottom of the door. I had a new opener installed and they ran the sensor wires right above the main track that runs to the opener. It runs from the opener to the wall above the door.. Then branches off down to each door. Aesthetically, it doesn't look great to me. The wires are hovering above the track. The connection points are at the opener and then at the wall.. Maybe 10' or so... At those wires just hover above the track and are visible. The way they were run before they were on the side tracks and not visible. Wanted to understand from the group what the norm is. Thanks
