I bought a fifty dollar Steam gift card with store credit and my girlfriend peeled the number off

Hey guys. Like the title says. Basically my girlfriend wanted to play Elden Ring with me so I went to GameStop and traded some stuff in for two fifty dollar Steam gift cards. I scratched the first one off and my finger felt weird so I was looking for a tool and my girlfriend peeled it instead of scratching it and took the number off. Will GameStop be able tell I didn’t use the code or am I cooked?
