The Info Drought Discrepancy

I know a lot of people here are obsessed with this game to an unhealthy degree, and I admit that I have been watching this sub a little too much recently. But everyone here needs to think about this whole Trailer 2 business a bit more realistically. I understand that it's been a year without information, and that has clearly been pretty annoying, given this is the biggest entertainment launch in history. But why do you want a Trailer 2 RIGHT this second? If they released it right here and now, there would be at least another half-yearish of no information. Going into Spring/Summer next year with a constant flow of news, trailers, screenshots, etc. would justify this entire wait.

This also goes into my issue with the doomers who continue hammering the delay philosophy. Rockstar has continued to reaffirm the Fall 2025 release calendar even a year prior to release. Can things go wrong in that year? Obviously. But I think the lack of information alongside the continued reassurances the closer and closer we get is a much better sign than it has been in the past. They are confident in their release window right now and are waiting until they have the exact date in mind before going full force in the marketing era. The leaks have also definitely contributed to their silence and I can't really blame them.

I'm not ruling out the possibility of there being at least a little bit of news in the near future (That doesn't have to be Trailer 2), but I also wouldn't be surprised if nothing happens. Rockstar hasn't promised anything, and the only basis for having news at this specific period is that a year has passed since Trailer 1 came out. All I'm saying is to maybe just let this go for a while and let Rockstar play their cards. It'll be a lot more fun if something comes out when you least expect it.
