New Manual Driver Advice for GR86/BRZ

I've been interested in getting this car for a while, as it's one of the few affordable sports cars. I finally pulled the trigger since Subaru had an incentive APR % for a 2024 model and a mental battle convincing myself. So I bought a silver premium under MSRP. I wanted to get a manual before it's too late.

I understand the concept of manual due to riding motorcycles and playing video games with a third pedal. This is my first time driving a manual on public roads—the amount of times I stalled on the way home. Feeling the vague bite causing me to stall or pull off badly is tough. When I used to ride, it felt simpler on reaching to the bite point allowing the bike to roll forward without gas.

I can't feel or tell where the grab point is enough to let the car roll forward. I understand that within time I'll get the hang of the footwork. However, I don't want to burn out the clutch any further. On the way home, I definitely burnt the clutch a bit at a light. Honestly, reverse gears feel easier to manipulate input.

Kinda a little discouraged to drive. I'm planning to wake up early tomorrow so I can get some seat time and practice in a parking lot. What are your tips for this car? What's the optimal way to sit? Where is the grab point? Tough to feel or hear the engine engaging

EDIT: A pic of the car. Gonna be my first and last brand new car xD
