Reasonable priced big brakes in front?

Hey folks -
Is there any reasonably priced improvement to be had in the front brakes?
Not drilled / slotted rotors. Not a fan.
But anything that'll let you put a bigger front rotor and dual piston calipers, say?
Wilwood is too rich for my blood. I saw this dodgy looking kit where you modify the steering knuckle and it left like 1/16" of meat next to one of the bolts... fuck that.
Gotta be something else out there, right?
2wd // 5x5 bolt pattern.
