how do I make animal ears?

hey everyone. I've recently got very into sewing and irl crafts. I have a sewing machine and finished my first plush! now, I am looking more into tails, paws and.... ears. everything else was easy to understand to me, but the ears are a bit frustrating. I do not personally want to use glue, as I feel it's a bit messy, isn't as professional looking, and looks low effort. I'd like to make my future ears posable. I think I can achieve things like this using a headband to hold the ears, jewelry wire to hold them in shape and pose them, and faux fur. but all these tutorials I'm watching either use glue, or need a heat gun and a special material, and then don't seem plyable. I'll put some photos down below to ears I personally enjoy. I have seen the bunny ones for so long, and they're such a dream of mine to recreate, but I think while learning, I'll first do cat ears.
