I saved over $240 annually by switching from Straight Talk to Mint Mobile and here is my opinion

Hey there! As the title says I switched over mobile services and it's been about a month and I thought I would share my opinion about the switch, if not brag about the savings a little.

I was with straight talk for a few years, and my plan was around $35 a month for 10gb of data, 1gb hot spot, talk and text. Service was spotty around the rural areas in Texas, and really spotty when I moved to NY State for a few years.

With mint I paid around $180 for the whole year, which is around $15 a month (it's so freeing not worrying about that monthly bill lol). I have unlimited data, talk and text. I have not had service cut out on me once, even doordashing to some pretty rural areas.

The only thing I'm losing out on is that 1gb of hot spot but I can count on my fingers the amount of times I've used that over the years. Overall I would say the savings and the service is worth it and would recommend it to anyone trying to save a buck!
