What is your flushing routine like to save water?

I chaperoned one of my children’s field trips today and the person said to save water you shouldn’t flush when you pee. Only when you poop.

Her exact words “If it’s yellow let it mellow if it’s brown flush it down.”

I told my kids to always flush and adults aren’t always right.
