Frostpunk 2 (GOG) do not see any game-saves during offline.

You can save your game while playing offline, but the save will not be visible when you restart the game next time in offline mode. However, it will be visible when you restart the game in online mode.
It looks like I need to be online to continue playing. Is this game online only? If so, why isn't this indicated in the GOG store?
