Any tips on completeing Drift Zones in FH3?

I am so close to 100% total completion in FH3 - just the drift zones left, and some other PR stunts. I'm at 99.6% and I really want to get over the line.

Does anyone have any tips for getting better at drifting, like techniques that have helped you? Are there any cars that you prefer for drifting - I usually go for rally cars like the MG Metro 6R4, or cars featured in drift-related bucket lists like Dodge Charger SRT Hellcat (featured in Bucket List #6).

Additionally, is there an advantage with E-Drifting (which I am frustrated to admit, I only realised how to do it over 95% into the game)? Obviously, it's important to know how to drift, but is it necessary to be able to do this as well?
