What shifter do you use?

Got a Logitech shifter today but I cant get it to work. It doesnt detect the device in game and Im reading something about an april update that destroyed compatibility. tried nearly everything. I dont want Forza 5 and I dont want a sim race game where it probably will work. I just need a shifter that works with FH4. I have the logitech G920 wheel that works just like it should, it just doesnt detect the shifter.

recommendations?
